How insurance, purpose, and empathy can change lives—one family at a time.

The Client Who Got Sick… and Got Through It

A few years ago, I sat down with a young woman in her 20s. She was healthy, full of energy, and eager to start a savings plan. But as we talked, I asked her: “Do you have hospitalisation coverage?”

She didn’t. Just MediShield Life.

I told her—gently but firmly—that before she invests or saves, she needs to be protected. I recommended an Integrated Shield Plan to complement her MediShield Life.

She trusted me. She bought the policy.

Five years later, she was diagnosed with cancer. The policy covered her treatments.

Today, she’s in remission, newly married, and a proud homeowner.

Health insurance isn’t something to delay. It’s the foundation, not the add-on.

Start with Health, Then Build Wealth

This is a principle I live by with every client: Protect first, then grow.

  1. Hospitalisation plans

  2. Critical illness coverage

  1. Disability income insurance

Once that’s in place, we can start building your retirement plan, investment portfolio, or your child’s education fund.

When you're protected, you plan with peace of mind. Without it, even the best investment returns can be wiped out in a single hospital bill.

From Personal Loss to Professional Purpose

When I was 23, I lost my father to an illness. He didn’t have insurance.

Watching my family struggle emotionally and financially left a lasting mark. It’s the reason I became a financial advisor.

Today, I help ensure other families never face the same burden. I’ve walked clients through hospital stays, funerals, and claim payouts. It’s not glamorous work—but it’s meaningful.

This is not about selling. It’s about showing up when it matters most.

Planning for the Dream: Education in Melbourne

A father came to me unsure how to fund his daughter’s overseas university plans in Melbourne. He didn’t know where to start—just that he wanted the best for her.

Together, we mapped everything: Tuition and living costs, currency conversion, long-term investment projections and whether she might return to Singapore.

In the end, we structured a plan that balanced her dreams and his own retirement goals.

He told me, “For the first time, I feel like I’m not just dreaming—I’m preparing.”

Don’t Wait for the Storm

I’m not here to scare anyone—but here’s the truth:

Emergencies don’t give warnings.

Delays can cost you more than premiums.

And most people only realise the value of financial planning when it’s too late.

So here’s what I recommend:

✅ Get your health coverage sorted first.

✅ Then build your wealth strategy.

✅ Work with someone who listens, not just sells.

“We don’t just work with numbers. We work with lives.”

If you're ready to take the next step—whether it's reviewing your hospital plan, mapping out your child’s education, or just knowing where to begin—I’d be honored to walk that journey with you.

Because your life is worth planning for.

And I’ll be here when it matters most.
